Privacy & local data
How this site uses storage in your browser (and what we don't do).
Local storage
KitTok keeps a small record of your finished games in your browser's local storage (not on our servers). This lets us show your History, remember that you've already played today's puzzle on this device, and block a same-day replay.
Each saved entry can include, for example:
- the puzzle date;
- an internal kit id;
- the team and year you submitted when you finished;
- your score, win or loss, how many tiles you revealed, and a completion timestamp.
Data stays on this device and browser. If you clear site data for KitTok, use another browser, or another device, that history won't be there until you play again.
Cookies
This app is built to work without tracking or advertising cookies for gameplay. Your hosting provider (for example Vercel) may set cookies as part of serving the site or for security; check their documentation if you need detail.
We don't use cookies to store your game history — that information is kept in local storage as described above.
