How to play
KitTok daily kit · one puzzle per calendar day
- The puzzle. Each day there is one shirt from a club from the 25/26 season list (England, Scotland, Spain, Germany, France, and Holland). You need the correct club and any year that kit was worn in its season (e.g. 1991, 1992, or 1993 for a 1991–1993 kit).
- The grid. The kit starts hidden behind nine tiles (numbered 1–9 left-to-right, top-to-bottom). Tap Start reveal to run the scanner: a highlight jumps between covered tiles. Tap Stopto remove the next tile in that day's fixed reveal order—the same sequence for every player on that date.
- Guessing. After each reveal, a full-screen prompt asks for your team and year. Submit before you can uncover another tile. If the club is right or a year in range is right, that part locks—you only need the other from then on.
- Winning & losing.Solve both before you run out of tiles. If all nine squares are uncovered and you still don't have both correct, that day counts as a loss.
- Scoring. A win with only one tile removed (minimal reveal) scores 100. More tiles revealed lowers the score; very low scores are floored so a late win still feels worth something.
- Finished for the day. When you win or lose, you get a summary screen with optional confetti on a win. Use Share (system sheet on phones where supported) or Copy message for social posts. On this device you can't replay the same calendar day — a new kit appears after midnight in your time zone.
- History. Finished games are saved on this device only (see History in the menu). Privacy & local data explains what is stored.
