This is Watford's 1982–85 Umbro home shirt: yellow with a red horizontal band across the chest, the hornet crest on the left chest and Umbro on the right, with the central sponsor in bold lettering. It belongs to Graham Taylor's legendary Watford side as the Hornets rose through the divisions to finish runners-up in the First Division. Luther Blissett, John Barnes, Wilf Rostron and Nigel Callaghan were familiar names in this strip at Vicarage Road — an iconic Elton John-era Watford home.
