This is Monaco's 1980–82 Le Coq Sportif home shirt: red and white vertical stripes with the principality crest on the left chest and Le Coq Sportif on the right, finished in classic early-80s French style. It belongs to a competitive Monaco side pushing in the French top flight at the Stade Louis II. Jean-Luc Ettori, Delio Onnis and Christian Lopez were familiar names in this strip, with the club building towards domestic success — a sharp Monegasque home from the turn of the decade.
