This is Oxford United's 1987–89 Umbro home shirt: amber with navy trim, the U's crest on the left chest and Umbro on the right, with the central sponsor in bold lettering across the front. It belongs to the post-Robert Maxwell era at the Manor Ground as Oxford settled into the second tier. Jeremy Charles, Trevor Hebberd and Ray Houghton were familiar names in this strip after the club's brief top-flight adventure, with the Yellows rebuilding under manager Mark Lawrenson — a classic Umbro-era Oxford home.
